Our story
A local vision with a national connection.
The idea began with Betty Clark and her cousin, Doug Dailey, who helped create a Miracle League in Dublin, Ohio. Doug championed the possibility of bringing the same life-changing experience to Southwest Florida, where no comparable league served the Lee Island Coast region.
Today, the Miracle League of Southwest Florida is an independent local 501(c)(3) affiliated with the National Miracle League organization. That connection provides standards, guidance, and resources while local leadership shapes the program around our community.

Yes. The Miracle League of Southwest Florida is an independent local 501(c)(3) affiliated with the National Miracle League organization.
The national organization provides standards, guidance, and resources. Local leadership, fundraising, partnerships, and programming are managed here in Southwest Florida.
